American Express is the third most used credit card brand in the United States following Visa and MasterCard. They offer a number of card types for various levels of customers, all of which work like any other credit card that can be accepted where American Express can be used.

American Express Online Credit Card Payment

If you have yet to do so, you will have to create an online login to manage your American Express credit card payments online. This can be done at the American Express credit card account setup page. When making your account, you will be asked personal and account information to properly identify who you are and what credit card is linked to you. Once you are complete, you can make an online payment by following these directions:

• Go to American Express.Com/Pbc
• In the dropdown box, select the type of credit card you have with American Express
• Enter your user ID and password
• Check the “Remember me” box to save your user ID
• Click the “Log In” button

• Go to bill payment
• Choose an amount and date of payment
• Input your payment method
• Submit and confirm the payment

You can make a payment on your account by using the American Express automated phone system. You can reach this service by dialing:

When calling to make a payment, just follow the prompts that are given by the system to complete your transaction.

Payment Mailing Address for American Express Credit Card

To mail your payment in to American Express for your credit card account balance, get a check or a money order made out to “American Express” for the amount that you would like to pay. Write your account number on the payment method and send it to one of the following addresses depending on how much time you have before the payment is actually due.
