Step 1: Apply For Benefits
In order to access your information on EBT Edge, you will first need to apply for SNAP benefits online. This is a simple process, but it can differ slightly depending on what state you live in. To begin, open your favorite web browser on your computer and navigate to fns.usda.gov. On the home page there, click the link “How To Apply for SNAP Benefits” near the top-left. You will then be taken to a page where you will need to click on your state in order to find your local office. Depending on what state your local office is in, the process for applying will be somewhat different. Simply follow the on-screen instructions in order to complete an application for EBT benefits. For Florida, you will be taken to myflfamilies.com. From the home page, click the “Apply For Benefits” link near the top-left of the screen.

Step 2: Access Your EBT Information
When your benefits application has been approved and you have received your EBT card in the mail, you can easily check your information on EBT Edge. This website allows you to view the balance on your card, review your transactions, and read helpful tips about using the service to its full potential. Open your browser and navigate to ebtedge website. From there, click the “Cardholder Login” link on the left side of the page. On the next page, you will need to enter your EBT card number, located on the front of your card. If you require assistance, click the “Trouble logging in?” link near the bottom of the page.
